Telugu Horror Stories (Lighted Tales) is a one-person blog. I read every email, comment, and message — though I may take a few working days to respond.
Primary: [PANDRALA@HOTMAIL.COM]
Use this for: reader feedback, story corrections, licensing inquiries, collaboration proposals, press and media. If your email is about a specific story, please mention the story title in the subject line — it helps me respond faster.
Response time:
- Reader feedback: 3–7 working days
- Errata and corrections: 1–3 working days (and the story gets fixed)
- Collaboration proposals: 7–14 working days
- Licensing and commercial inquiries: 14–28 working days
- Press and media: 7–14 working days
If you have not heard back in 14 days, feel free to send a polite follow-up.
Comments on stories
The fastest way to reach me about a specific story is to comment on that story's blog post. I check comments every 1–2 days and reply to most. Comments are public.
For private feedback, please use email.
Social and other channels
- YouTube: Lighted Tales — audio narrations of selected stories
- Sister blog: Vikram Bethala Kathalu — modern Vikram-Bethal retellings
What I can help with
- Reader feedback — what worked, what didn't, which characters stayed with you
- Errata — typos, factual mistakes about a place or historical reference, broken links
- Story-idea suggestions — if you have experienced something at a Telangana location worth fictionalising, I will consider it. Always with credit, never as a verbatim retelling.
- Audio and narration collaboration — if you have a Telugu voice-over background
- Licensing inquiries — for podcasts, audiobooks, OTT producers, or print publishers
- Press and media — interviews, feature pieces about Telugu horror writing
What I cannot help with
- Free reposts of full stories — every story is copyrighted. Excerpts under 200 words with link-back are fine; full reposts are not.
- Writing tips for your own blog at scale — I would love to help everyone, but realistically I cannot. There are excellent free resources online.
- Personal supernatural advice — I write horror fiction; I don't claim spiritual authority. Please talk to a thoughtful elder, a counsellor, or a doctor as the situation requires.
Conduct
If your message is hostile, abusive, threatens harassment, or contains explicit attacks on community lines (caste, religion, gender, region), I will not respond and may report to the relevant platform. I read every reasonable message; I have zero patience for the unreasonable ones.
Where I am
Hyderabad, Telangana, India. The Madhapur / Gachibowli IT corridor by day, Karimnagar by Friday-evening bus.
I do not take walk-in meetings. If you are in Hyderabad and want to discuss a serious collaboration over coffee, an email proposal first works.
Quick contact form
You can also use the contact form in the website footer. Messages from the form go to my inbox the same way as direct emails.
